At Granting You Access, we strive to assist our clients to go beyond their physical limitations to lead quality lives in safe and energy efficient ways. We work with individuals challenged by geriatric issues, progressive illnesses, or traumatic injuries.
Assessment Process and Plans
Through experience and training, we have developed a thorough assessment process that takes a comprehensive look at your needs and daily routine in the present and future. All assessments include a walk through of your living space followed by a discussion of our findings and your needs.
After an assessment, we create a plan with our clients that addresses both their current and future needs. This approach allows clients and families to move forward with solutions for current needs with an understanding of options for future consideration if medical conditions change.
Granting You Access has no cookie-cutter plans. Our recommendations are unique and medically sound with a full discussion of the rationale behind them. Your safety and comfort will always be paramount to the assessment and the choices of how to best maintain your highest level of independence. We prevent costly mistakes by providing plan with options and an understanding of processes and timelines.
Our recommendations and solutions are offered as three levels of options, allowing clients and their families to choose based on their personal and financial situations.
- Immediate Solutions: We provide access and safety modifications using practical and durable medical equipment. These modifications are installed immediately or within seven days for minimal financial burden.
- Intermediate Solutions to Thrive: In addition to immediate solutions, we make a greater level of modifications yielding a more comfortable home. This allows you to return to necessary and enjoyable activities within two weeks.
- Long-term Solutions to Flourish: We offer design assistance and project consulting for remodeling of bathrooms, kitchens, and other living areas. Design consulting focuses on modifications that provide accessible, safe, and comfortable spaces.
Our experience with thousands of families provides us with a foundation to guide you and your family through the best options for consideration. Options may include installing modifications using high quality, durable medical equipment in one or two visits or providing designs and referrals for remodeling.
